The Movie
Christensen mixes documentary and feature film to deals with the medieval witch-hunting.
The film introduces the imagery of those times through a documentary of contemporary pictures and, then, narates the fate of a bourgeoise family during the time of the witch-hunt in powerful nightmarish scenes. The epilogue establishes a link between superstition and psychoanalysis
The Music
Using various musical styles, the archaic sounds of doublebass, clarinet, saxophone, flute and drums translate - in composed as well as improvised passages - the film´s authentic and artistic imagery
